Making money from answering surveys?

Some time ago I learned that you can make money by answering surveys. I decided to investigate.
The first thing you have to know is that it is true, there are serious survey pages that you can join and you can earn money. You are not going to get rich answering surveys. It requires dedication and perseverance like anything else. Most of them pay with points, which are converted into money. When you collect 5 or 10 USD you can claim the payment depending on the page. Most pay through PayPal and / or gift cards like Amazon, Waltmart, etc. Each survey pays from 20 cents to $ 2.5. Generally speaking, a survey that pays you $ 1 is well paid, so no, you are not going to get rich answering surveys.
When making a profile they will ask for your name, age, address. Normally they will ask you certain questions on the page: gender, occupation, race or ethnicity and if you have children or not, sometimes even your  income. All this is because to answer a survey you first have to qualify for it. Pollsters look for a certain profile for each product or service. When you start answering the survey, they will ask you these kinds of questions again at the beginning. You may be disqualified and the survey ends there, of course you will not earn anything. If you qualify you can continue answering and then they will pay you with points. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t qualify, you are simply not the target market for the product or service, try another survey.
Normally they tell you before answering them how many points you are going to obtain and how long it takes to answer the survey. It honestly always takes me twice as long as the survey says. One thing I noticed is that they don’t like you using a VPN. Apparently this is because location matters. In this way you cannot pretend to be someone from another country, as these pages may only work in certain countries.
I joined the following survey pages:

Survey Junkie:

It has a very good reputation, however I was with them for a little over a week and they never sent me any surveys. By not answering  surveys, there is no money.

American consumer Opinion:

Like the previous one, it has a very good reputation, but it has only sent me a couple of surveys in the period of several months, which I have not qualified for, therefore no points obtained and no money earned. On the same page it says that they will mail you some surveys throughout the year. Which means that in the short term you are not going to make a lot of money. One problem is that although I wanted to leave the page when I clicked the button, I have not been able to do so.

PrizeRebel:

This page has an adequate number of surveys so that you can make a lot of points and therefore earn money. They allow you to redeem your points every time you accumulate 5 USD. Their rating is 3 out of 5. I personally did not like it. While I was able to change my points for 5 USD. When I had a problem either with the account or with a survey, it was hard for me to get them to answer me or review the problem within the page. When I was able to report my problem they took days to answer and therefore to resolve the problem. They say you can make money by watching videos. I never managed to score points by watching videos for any reason. When it was my turn to exchange my points for 5 USD, they asked me to send them an identification, covering up address and personal data, just to verify that I was from the place where I claimed to be. I didn’t like this at all. It may work for some people but not for me.

Branded Surveys :

This is my favorite, and therefore the only one I would recommend. It has a constant source of surveys, this way you can earn points to the extent you want. The page is easy to navigate. My only complaint is that on average in 1 out of 4 surveys I have a technical problem, such as not giving me my points or the survey is being processed and I cannot finish it, etc. The good thing is that  you can easily claim those mistakes and if you are right in a couple of days they give you the points that belong to you. They allow you to redeem every 10 USD. At the moment I have redeemed approximately 5 times once in PayPal and the others in Amazon, which have worked without problem.
